Welcome to your Universe Beads kit! You’re about to embark on a 13.8 billion year journey, but don’t worry. You can do it. You can assemble your timeline directly out of the tin, or pour the beads into a bowl. There are extras of the little grey and clear beads, but do not lose any of your special beads! There is only one of each!
Inside your tin are the following:
To begin, carefully remove your string and an unspool it. If it’s nylon (it’ll be black or some color), try your best to stretch it out without snapping it.
Next, find one of the two clasps and tie it in a knot at the very end of the string. I like a quadrupled overhand knot.
Using the timeline as a guide, begin beading!
The timeline will tell you a short version, but, if you want to read a long form as you build your universe, take a look at the Story.
I recommend taking this journey in several sittings. To pause the process to pick up later, tie a slip knot in your string, and place it back into the tin. This way you can take as long as you need.
